Haywards Heath & District U3A Elects New Chairman

Dr Alastair Porter, a Lindfield resident, was elected Chairman at the AGM held on 16 April 2007, taking over from John Simpson who was retiring after two years in office.  Covering Haywards Heath, Lindfield, Cuckfield and neighbouring villages, the U3A continues to expand and offers a wide variety of special interest groups, for residents aged over 50 and no longer in full time employment.

Some groups meet in private homes and others use local halls.  The membership fee is currently £12 p.a. which entitles Members to join any groups which have vacancies, to participate in Regional study days and to attend open meetings and coffee mornings.
